CERTIFIED PEER RECOVERY SPECIALIST
The Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) credential is designed for individuals with personal, lived experience in their own recovery from substance abuse or mental health issues or experience as a family member or loved one.
The primary function of the CPRS is to provide individuals and family members in recovery with a support system to develop and learn healthy skills and gain access to needed community resources.
