The Opioid Treatment Program Health Home Initiative with support from The Substance Use and Mental Health Leadership Council of RI
This training will provide participants with information on effective treatment intervention for older adults with substance use disorder. Participants will be given an overview of the barriers that get in the way of access to treatment, as well as action steps to address this growing issue of substance use disorder in older adults.
Continuing Education Credits:
Nursing CEUs: This activity has been approved by the Northeast Multi-State Division to award 2.0 contact hours.
The Northeast Multi-State Division is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont Nurses Association are members of the Northeast Multi-State Division of the American Nurses Association.
Social Worker CEUs: This training has been approved by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) for 2.0 continuing education credits.
Chemical Dependency Professionals CEUs: This training has been approved by the RI Certification Board for 2.0 continuing education credits (The RICB is an IC&RC affiliate).
