Beginning August 25, 2020, participants will be required to have enabled video in order to receive CEUs for live, online trainings.

This course will introduce the participant to the history of medication-assisted treatment in the United States, and will provide and overview of the three medications currently FDA approved for the treatment of opioid use disorder. This training will also include a discussion of the changes in the laws regarding the treatment of opioid use disorder, and the implications for the treatment system.

Social Worker CEUs: This training has been approved for 6.0 National Association of Social Workers continuing education credits.

Chemical Dependency Professionals CEUsThis training has been approved by the RI Certification Board for 6.0 continuing education credits (The RICB is an IC&RC affiliate).

Mental Health Counselors CEUsThis training has been approved for 6.0 RI Mental Health Counselors Association continuing education credits.
