This training, designed for Peer Recovery Specialists, will explore key ethical issues including confidentiality, boundaries, and dual relationships. This training also provides participants with a forum for examining contemporary ethical, legal, and socio-cultural issues pertinent to their development as professional working with the recovery community. The major objective of the training is to provide participants with a framework for ethical decision-making and practice.
Six (6) continuing education hours (ceus) in Ethics are provided.
Continuing Education Credits:
Certified Peer Recovery Specialist CEUs:This training has been approved by the RI Certification Board for 6.0 continuing education credits (The RICB is an IC&RC affiliate).
Chemical Dependency Professionals CEUs: This training has been approved by the RI Certification Board for 6.0 continuing education credits (The RICB is an IC&RC affiliate).
Please Note: A pre-test is required to be taken before the training. In order to receive a training certificate, each participant must complete a post-test, and training evaluation within ten (10) days of completing the training.
